My writing experience includes landing page copy, blog posts, lead generation, SEO keywords, promotional ad copy, product descriptions, social media, and video scripts.
I was a media editor at Macmillan Learning where I worked on a team that developed digital products that accompanied text books. I helped write instructional copy for a new video assessment app, wrote user directions for students and instructors for new and updated platforms, and drafted instructional copy for product user testing.

Arcadia Publishing & The History Press
At Arcadia Publishing & The History Press, I wrote 10 blog posts per month. These articles varied in length and style, but all were written based on SEO keyword research and timely events. For a partnership with Barnes & Noble stores across the country, I wrote 90 Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram posts per month for two months. These posts were focused on particular cities across the country and highlighted an event or characteristic unique to that community.
Treehouse Strategy & Communications
My role as a marketing content writer at Treehouse included writing detailed web copy for newly created websites as well as updates to live sites, crafting ad copy, and promotional video scripts.
Open Road Integrated Media (ORIM)
I worked on the digital editorial team at ORIM where I wrote 2-3 blog posts daily, built web pages using the company’s custom CMS, and helped create a content calendar every month. I also wrote copy for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook posts, and engaged with users on all these platforms. I was responsible for running monthly giveaways. This included working with leading publishing houses in the industry to contribute books and other items, sending mass emails to subscribers, and creating the visuals that appeared on giveaway landing page.
